Strong communication between city council members and constituents is essential to building trust, transparency, and effective local government for our city. Residents deserve leaders who are accessible, responsive, and willing to listen to the concerns and ideas of the community. Open communication with Rochester residents helps ensure that decisions made by the city council reflect the real needs and priorities of the people who live and work in the city. Whether discussing neighborhood concerns, construction projects, public safety, parks, or future development, ongoing dialogue creates stronger partnerships between elected officials and the community they serve.
Every year, I send a report to constituents in Ward 5, highlighting the work that has been done and the future projects in our great city, along with my contact information which is also on the internet and social media. You will see some of the past reports below.
